How do I turn on the power and what changes?
Locate the power switch on the top floor of the central building. Activating it changes the map from monochrome to colour, enables all perk machines and traps, and powers the three lunar landers that drive the rest of the map’s functions.
Where are the lunar landers and how can I use them?
Each corner of the map hosts a lunar lander marked with a Cyrillic letter. Paying 250 points launches you back to the central spawn pad while you can fire at zombies during the flight.
How do I reach Pack‑a‑Punch and what extra benefits does it have?
Pack‑a‑Punch is located behind the rocket. To open it you must purchase a ride on each of the three landers and return to the centre, then activate the launch button next to the power switch; the rocket then lifts, revealing the upgrade station for 5,000 points.
The Pack‑a‑Punch room can be held indefinitely, and destroying the launching rocket awards a free Double Points power‑up that lands beneath the rocket.
What wonder weapons and tactical equipment are available?
New tactical options are the Gersch Device—a throwable singularity that pulls zombies and can teleport you if you enter it—and the Matryoshka Dolls, a cluster bomb; only one can be equipped at a time.
Which perks are new and how many can I equip?
Ascension introduces PhD Flopper, which converts high‑altitude dives into explosions and removes fall damage, and Stamin‑Up, which extends sprint duration and speed. Existing perks such as Jugger‑Nog, Quick Revive and Speed Cola remain, while Double Tap is absent in the original version.
The Random Perk Bottle power‑up appears for the first time on Ascension and allows players to exceed the standard four‑perk limit when collected.
What are the requirements and rewards of the Casimir Mechanism quest?
The Casimir Mechanism quest begins at round one with a voice cue. Completing five nodes—including sacrificing a Gersch Device, simultaneous button presses during a monkey round, a two‑minute pressure‑plate stand, collecting letters from lander trips to spell LUNA, and firing a wonder‑weapon at a black hole—requires exactly four players.
Finishing the quest does not grant an achievement; instead all participants receive ninety seconds of Death Machines and the liberation of Gersch.
