How to plan a Call of Duty Zombies Easter egg run
Prepare your next Zombies quest attempt: check requirements, use map references, read step confirmations and verify changes before the team loads in.

Choose a goal before choosing a loadout
A Zombies session can mean learning a map, practicing a difficult quest step or attempting a complete Main Quest. Agree on that goal before loading in. A practice run can be useful even when the team never reaches the ending. For a completion attempt, open the map article and its linked quest together so you can distinguish general setup from steps that only belong to the quest. Keep the name of the game in view: a familiar map or weapon name does not guarantee identical mechanics across releases.
Check the requirements that can end a run early
Read the quest prerequisites before the walkthrough. Look for the supported player count, any required weapons or buildables, and instructions involving the whole team. Treat those requirements as a checklist you discuss before starting, rather than details someone discovers halfway through a run. If a requirement is unclear, follow the cited source or use the article’s discussion page to ask for clarification. A missing value in a wiki table is a gap in the reference, not evidence that no requirement exists.
Separate travel from progression
Use the map article for locations and systems, then use the quest guide for the order of operations. CODZombie’s Atlas also includes route diagrams and named-area lists. Check the label on the view you open: a schematic explains connections and is not a scaled screenshot of the level. Knowing which room connects to your objective is useful, but it should not be mistaken for a measured distance or an exact in-game coordinate. When available, an actual map layer gives you a different kind of reference.
Read ahead without losing your place
Before triggering a step, read its confirmation and failure conditions along with the action itself. That makes it easier to recognize whether the game accepted what you did. Keep one person responsible for reading the instructions while the rest of the team handles the immediate situation. If you want a simpler screen during play, open Guided Mode from the quest page. Keep the full article available for context, sources and details that a compact step view cannot show all at once.
Use freshness and sources as part of preparation
For games still receiving updates, compare the guide with the latest official update summary before relying on a specific interaction. A recent page edit is not the same thing as a fresh in-game verification. CODZombie displays verification information so you can see where facts still need checking. If your run reveals a discrepancy, record the game, map, mode and relevant step, then submit a sourced correction. A clear screenshot and a precise description help the next team more than a general statement that the guide is wrong.
