Wisp Tea is Black Ops 7’s one truly new Perk-a-Cola: drink it, keep killing, and once your damage crosses a threshold a companion Wisp materialises — an ethereal creature that slays nearby zombies for around thirty seconds before resting on a two-minute cooldown. It targets every zombie type without prejudice, and deliberately spares the last zombie of a round, because Treyarch knows exactly what that zombie is for.

The augments dress the Wisp in masks, each a different familiar: the Demon’s Mask of Wrath for damage, the Monkey’s Mask of Distraction to pull aggro, the Maiden’s Mask of Benevolence to heal instead of fight — and the Fox’s Mask of Salvation, which can revive its owner up to three times a match, effectively a self-revive on a leash. Minor augments stretch its lifetime, shorten the cooldown, set it babysitting the round’s last zombie, or send it fetching power-ups.
