Weaver
Grigori Weaver leads the ex-Requiem crew of Black Ops 6 and continues in Black Ops 7, where the Totenreich main quest rewards a Weaver Operator Skin.
Overview
Grigori Weaver has the longest résumé in the modern story: the one-eyed CIA officer from the original Black Ops campaign — the eye lost to Kravchenko’s knife at Baikonur — who resurfaces four decades of publishing later as Requiem’s head of field operations, and ends as the leader of the crew that finishes what Requiem started. Gene Farber has voiced him since 2010.
Requiem and the blacksite
Hand-picked by the anonymous Director to run Requiem’s responses from Die Maschine through Forsaken, he is arrested with the senior staff the moment the Forsaken is contained — Project Janus collecting its loose ends — and spends over five years imprisoned and tortured at the Terminus blacksite before Maya and Peck break the crew out in 1991.
The truth
Shattered Veil hands him the story’s heaviest bill: the 1981 Bremen assassination he carried out — manipulated by forged intelligence — burned a safehouse with Mary and Samuel Richtofen inside. Requiem itself was partly built to keep him under its Director’s thumb. At Reckoning he favors helping the man whose family he unknowingly killed; the artifact’s strike throws him into the Dark Aether with his crew, where Black Ops 7 finds him still leading.
