Where facts come from

Release dates, patch notes and anything else the publisher has stated directly come from Activision and Treyarch's own channels. Those are the easy ones.

Quest steps are harder. Treyarch has never published a walkthrough for a main Easter egg — every step of every quest on this site was worked out by players. Where we describe a quest, we are summarising community knowledge, cross-checked against more than one independent source and against playing the map. We say so on the page rather than implying we have inside information.

When we cannot confirm something

We leave it out. A blank field is more useful than a confident guess, and it is honest about what we know. Where a figure is an approximation rather than a measured value — spawn intervals and timers, usually — we label it as one.

Live-service titles change. Anything tied to a current game can go out of date between patches, and we would rather show a date than pretend otherwise.

Images and video

Every image on the site records where it came from, who published it and the basis on which we are using it. Videos are embedded from their original official uploads and are never re-hosted. Nothing here is AI-generated.
