Richtofen (Primis)
The Primis incarnation of Richtofen works to correct the timeline, guiding the Primis crew from Origins through the Aether saga’s conclusion.
Overview
Primis Richtofen is the redemption arc the Ultimis original never got. Drawn from a point in the multiverse before Edward Richtofen became the mode’s arch-manipulator, he is introduced in Origins as one of the four Great War soldiers and spends the rest of the Aether saga trying to unmake the damage his other self caused. Nolan North voices every Richtofen; the difference here is intent — where Ultimis schemed for control, Primis follows a plan handed down by Doctor Monty.
The plan
That plan drives the Black Ops III maps in order: assemble the Primis crew at The Giant, bank the Ultimis souls one map at a time — Dempsey’s at Der Eisendrache, the others following — into the Summoning Key, and hold the fracturing universe together long enough to reset it. He is methodical to the point of cold, dosing his own team with blood vials and withholding what they do not need to know, because he has seen where improvisation leads.
The reset
It costs him. A Primis Richtofen is killed at Gorod Krovi, and the survivors carry the plan into Revelations, where Monty’s reset writes the crews out of the cycle entirely — the Primis souls sent to live ordinary lives as the children of a healed timeline. He ends the saga not as its villain but as the man who spent everything to close it.
