Overview

The Margwa is the Apothicons’ foot soldier: a three-headed, tentacled mass that stalks Shadows of Evil from round 8 and arrives in force whenever the map’s rituals stir — seven per player during the sword upgrade alone. Its ground slam downs an unprotected player outright and smashes shields in one blow; its melee is merely ordinary.

Fighting it

The fight is a rhythm of mouths: each head only takes damage while its maw glows open, each destroyed head pays five hundred points, speeds the beast up, and looses a Parasite. It shrugs off Insta-Kill and Nuke, swats Li’l Arnies out of the air, and shields itself from the very weapon built from its own heart — the first Margwa killed in any match always drops that heart for the Apothicon Servant’s bench. Six kills earn the wearable Margwa Head, which softens the slam.

Beyond Morg City

Revelations brings it back as a recurring round boss in three flavours — the standard yellow, a fire variant whose slam sends homing flames, and a void variant whose impact opens a skull-spitting portal. Its silhouette haunts Black Ops 4’s cinematics, and its bloodline continues in spirit through Cold War’s three-headed Abomination.

Behavior

A three-headed Apothicon that swipes in melee and one-shots unprotected players with its slam; each head is only damageable while its mouth glows open.
