Main Quest

Paradox Junction main quest

Paradox Junction has an officially acknowledged main quest, which went live on 2026-03-11. Activision refers to it only as "the Main Quest" — no proper name has been published, and no first-party walkthrough exists, so the steps are not documented here.

The full write-up

Paradox Junction is the Warden’s revenge for his two lost Shadowsmiths: a temporal prison built from Nuketown, playable in two states — the intact past and the obliterated possible future — swapped by round progression or through a cracked golden portal for Essence. The crew arrives dragged from beneath the sands of Mars, and the Dark Heart falls here, with the Shadowsmith Caltheris freed in the aftermath.

Wonder weapon

The Blundergat returns with a new ceiling: the Sundergat upgrade, whose Soul Wrencher rounds and Sunder Purge and Exile beams modernise the old four-barrel. Perk machines shuffle their positions between the two eras — only Quick Revive stays put — and the classic Electro Shock trap works both timelines.

Special enemies

The Rad-Hound debuts: irradiated dogs that detonate into a lingering radioactive cloud, later exported to the Nuked survival map cut from this Junction’s future half. The main quest pays a Blundergat weapon skin, a calling card and 10,000 XP.
