Main Quest · Forsaken
Pyrrhic Victory
Forsaken’s main quest begins with the mission already lost: Omega’s rescue works, and Sergeant Kazimir Zykov — forty years in the Dark Aether, four centuries by its clock — steps out as the Forsaken. Requiem’s answer is a field-built Aetherium Neutralizer, assembled from a defended crystal core, an arcade cabinet’s monitoring device and an Abomination’s appetite, escorted to Town Square for a three-phase boss fight under Samantha Maxis’s covering fire. The name is exact: the entity is contained, and the price is Samantha’s freedom, Requiem’s existence, and the truth about the Director. Soloable; the reward is the Dark Ops calling card — no achievement exists.

Before you start
Prerequisites
- • The security lockdown lifted from the Observation Tower
- • The Chrysalax Savager — the crystal-shard step requires it
- • An electric ammo mod for the arcade cabinet
Walkthrough
Step by step
- 01
Wake the Forsaken
Press the second button in the Observation Tower — Zykov emerges, transforms, and the map corrupts as Samantha arrives to hold him off.
- 02
The buoy and the arcade
Dislodge the Housing Unit buoy with an Abomination’s charge in the Board Room, then reboot the Grand Prix cabinet with an electric arc and drive its ARC-XD through the TV Store vent for the Monitoring Device.
- 03
Fuel and crystals
Claim the Fuel Tank from the Fuel Processing lockdown, then shatter three shielded crystals with the Chrysalax Savager and feed each shard to an Abomination to transmute it.
- 04
Build the Neutralizer
Assemble the Aetherium Neutralizer at the Main Street workbench.
Warning: Activating it is the point of no return.
- 05
The escort
Walk the fuel-hungry Neutralizer through the Phase to Town Square, feeding it as it goes.
- 06
The Forsaken
Three phases — shoulders, chest crystal, head — with Samantha charging the Aetherium turrets and Krasny Soldats joining from phase two. She ends it by forcing him into the containment chamber, and staying behind.
