Main Quest · Shangri-La
Time Travel Will Tell
Shangri-La’s main quest frees — or tries to free — the explorers Brock and Gary from the temple’s time loop, and ends with the second artifact of Richtofen’s Grand Scheme: the Focusing Stone, shrunk down from a giant Element 115 meteor by wonder-weapon beams. It requires exactly four players, because the eclipse that powers every step takes four buttons pressed in the same instant, and one later step needs three players weighing a grate while a fourth rides the slide. The stone-bearer keeps all eight perks permanently.

Preparation
Before you start
Prerequisites
- • Four players — the eclipse buttons and the slide step cannot be done with fewer
- • Power on (both water levers)
- • The Pack-a-Punched 31-79 JGb215 (The Fractalizer) for the finale
- • Spikemores and an explosive weapon along the way
Walkthrough
Step by step
- 01
Trigger the eclipse
All four players press the four wall buttons near Quick Revive at the same moment — the sun goes dark and the temple shifts into the past.
- 02
Find Brock and Gary
In the past, speak to the two explorers trapped behind the wall near the MPL — the quest alternates eras from here, eclipse on and off.
- 03
Work the temple
A timed symbol-matching puzzle, the four-on-the-waterslide pressure plate, and a diamond shrunk with the Baby Gun and launched by geyser — the temple’s mechanisms, worked one era at a time.
- 04
Gas, spikes and dials
Ignite the redirected gas leaks with a lured Napalm Zombie, plug the four tunnel holes with Spikemores, and enter the radio code — 16, 1, 3, 4 — on the mud-pit dials.
- 05
Charge the crystals
Ring the four gongs and feed the Focusing Crystals with Fractalizer beams to recover Gary’s dynamite, then pass it to Brock through the back wall.
- 06
Shrink the meteor
The beams converge on the giant meteor above the spawn temple and shrink it to the Focusing Stone — collect it on the altar where Pack-a-Punch usually stands.
Brock and Gary end the quest back at the moment they first found the temple. The loop holds; the stone leaves with you, bound for Griffin Station.
