Shattered Veil — Main Quest

Shattered Veil’s quest is a favour for S.A.M. that curdles into the season’s biggest betrayal: three Liminal Space rituals — each demanding its matching Ray Gun Mark II variant against a Mangler, an Elder Disciple and an Amalgam — gather the Prima Materia that charges the Sentinel Artifact. Handing it over teleports the crew into Richtofen’s pocket-dimension prison, where the truth about his dead family and Weaver’s part in it comes out, and the escape wakes the mansion’s T-Rex fossil into the Z-Rex boss fight. Soloable, with a hardcore rematch at round 100.

Preparation

Before you start

Prerequisites

  • • Pack-a-Punch reached via the repaired elevator
  • • The Ray Gun Mark II built — the box version does not advance the quest
  • • All three canister variants: Mark II-W, Mark II-P and Mark II-R

Walkthrough

Step by step

  1. 01

    Build the Mark II

    Follow the floppy disk through the fax machine, the nursery chalkboard cipher and the keypad, take the Doppelghast’s severed arm, and open the Armory case.

  2. 02

    Forge the variants

    Craft the W, P and R canisters through the Henge, Serpent Mound and Conservatory rituals.

  3. 03

    The liminal rituals

    Enter each Liminal Space with its matching variant and take its relic from its guardian — the Distillery’s Mangler, the Banquet Hall’s Elder Disciple, the Library’s Amalgam.

  4. 04

    Hand it over

    Place the charged Sentinel Artifact before S.A.M. in the Mainframe Chamber — and discover what she actually wanted it for.

    Warning: The betrayal is the point of no return.

  5. 05

    The Z-Rex

    Escape Richtofen’s liminal prison through Shem’s spacetime device — which reanimates the mansion’s T-Rex fossil — and put the Z-Rex back in the ground.

  6. 06

    The alliance

    March on Janus Towers with the last ally anyone expected.
