Heads Up!

Vanguard Zombies’ first named quest is a rescue of memory: the ancient monolith and the two-piece Relic Mirror restore what Kortifex stole from Saraxis, and the Echo of Saraxis boss fight — three masks for weak points, Wunderwaffe-charged phases — breaks his hold. The reward is the arc’s cruellest reveal: Saraxis was Kortifex’s bride, masked and mind-wiped by him, and his true target is a living entity called the Construct.

Walkthrough

Step by step

  1. 01

    The monolith

    Wake the ancient monolith at the swamp’s edge.

  2. 02

    The Relic Mirror

    Recover and join the mirror’s two pieces.

  3. 03

    The restoration

    Turn the mirror on Saraxis’s stolen memories.

  4. 04

    The Echo

    Fight the Echo of Saraxis — three masks, three weak points, with the Wunderwaffe charging each phase.

  5. 05

    The bride

    Saraxis remembers everything — including who masked her, and what he wants next.
