No Mo’ Modi

Terminus’s main quest — the "No Mo’ Modi" achievement — is the longer, darker of the two Black Ops 6 launch quests. It runs from a hard drive shaken out of a Tentacle Trap through Nathan’s containment pod, the restoration of the AI S.A.M., satellite hacks under Parasite attack and a nuclear defusal, before ending on a three-phase jetty fight against Patient 13, the sea creature Dr. Modi made of her longest-surviving test subject. Fully soloable, with a save-and-quit point before the boss door.

  • • All three Aetherium Maturation Pods on and Pack-a-Punch raised
  • • The DRI-11 Beamsmasher

Walkthrough

Step by step

  1. 01

    Shake loose the hard drive

    Stun the correct Tentacle Trap with the Beamsmasher so it drops a hard drive, and deliver it to Peck at the Security Station.

  2. 02

    Open Nathan’s pod

    Read the three-digit code from clues around the island — the Interrogation Room clock, the Mess Hall playing card and the Engineering safety sign — and unseal the containment pod.

  3. 03

    Nathan

    Fight the Amalgam that was Maya’s brother, then retrieve the keycard from the water after the cutscene.

    Warning: A tougher-than-usual Amalgam mini-boss — bring the Beamsmasher’s slow.

  4. 04

    Bring S.A.M. back online

    Take the node connectors from the shipwreck lockdown and repair two cut communication nodes around the islands.

  5. 05

    Hack the buoys

    Use Peck’s hacking device on three satellite buoys out on the water while Parasites swarm — failing a timer only resets the attempt.

  6. 06

    Apocalypse Protocol

    Defuse the three nuclear devices in the Bio Lab inside five minutes — progress on each device is kept, but the timer is not.

  7. 07

    Patient 13

    Through the door beside Melee Macchiato, fight the three-phase jetty battle — growths and tentacle bulbs first, then the glowing maw as Manglers join, then the eyes and mouth in a shrinking arena.

    The slam attack in the final phase hits for around 300 — break line of sight behind the crates or dive into the water to survive it. Solo players can save and quit at the door to bank their setup first.
