Main Quest · The Shadowed Throne

Stadtjäger Down

Berlin’s quest boards the zeppelin at last: radio codes call the Red Army’s attention, four energy tethers overloaded with the Wunderbuss bring down a boarding pod, and the fight upstairs ends with Straub killed by his own reanimated specimens. Then the Stadtjäger — the multi-headed Beast of Berlin — across three phases of earned vulnerability windows, until the machine turns its own Geistbolt on itself. Soloable, barely; take a squad.

Spoiler warning

This walkthrough reveals the map's finale. Continue only if you want to know how it ends.

Preparation

Before you start

Prerequisites

  • The Wunderbuss, built from battery and Geistbolt
  • The Blade of Barbarossa recovered from the Refuge for the story’s sake

Walkthrough

Step by step

  1. 01

    The frequency

Decode the radio frequency from the church map and chart, contact the Red Army, and launch the flare.

  2. 02

    The tethers

Straub’s zeppelin drops four energy tethers; overload each with the Wunderbuss.

  3. 03

    Board the zeppelin

Shoot the drop pod’s chain on Main Street and ascend.

Warning: The zeppelin is the point of no return.

  4. 04

    Straub’s laboratory

Route power through the terminals into the lab — reanimating the specimens that swarm and kill their maker.

  5. 05

    The Stadtjäger

Three phases: hit it in the charge wind-up, through the Geistbolt volleys, and inside its storm — until it shoots itself with its own arm.

  6. 06

    Down and out

Ride the pod down; a Meistermeuchler ambush at the cabaret ends under Hank Rideau’s jeep.
