Open route diagramNuketown Zombies drops the undead into multiplayer’s most famous cul-de-sac — a special-edition bonus at Black Ops II’s launch, later sold standalone. It is pure survival with a gimmick from orbit: the perk machines and the Pack-a-Punch fall from the sky at random intervals into fixed spots, debris of the Moon missile strike happening simultaneously overhead. Around round 25 the zombies’ eyes shift from yellow to blue as the announcer’s chair changes hands from Samantha to Richtofen.
The population sign is a kill counter, ticking up with every corpse and cycling the shed’s power-up each time it rolls over a hundred. There are no boardable windows — hence no Carpenter — and one survivor: knife the fallout-shelter door and Marlton Johnson grumbles from inside the bunker, waiting for the story to collect him in Green Run.
