Classified reimagines "Five" with the cast the timeline actually demands: Ultimis, flung to the Pentagon in 1963 when Dempsey fires the shrink ray into a teleporter mid-jump from Shangri-La to Groom Lake. It shipped with Black Ops 4’s launch behind the Black Ops Pass, and it fills in the story beat every Aether fan had waited for — how the crew of Richtofen’s Grand Scheme actually got to Area 51 and the Moon.

The Pentagon, plus Groom Lake

The three floors of "Five" return — offices, War Room, labs — with new rooms grafted in, and one enormous addition: a teleporter out to Groom Lake itself, the dusty Area 51 pad players last saw as Moon’s opening. Surviving out there under the sirens clears debris and pays out in Max Ammos and Bonfire Sales.

Power and Pack-a-Punch

Elevators move you before power; teleporters after, their destination floor signalled by a floating icon. The DEFCON ritual returns with a twist — at DEFCON 5 the central teleporter opens a new Panic Room holding a signal-amplifier part, and once the amplifier is built the same teleporter reaches Groom Lake, where the Pack-a-Punch machine waits in the open desert.

Wonder weapon: Winter’s Howl

The Winter’s Howl comes home — from the box, or free by completing the "Cold War Remedy" side quest, which tracks down Projekt Skadi via four aerial photographs of the classic maps and earns the map’s marquee achievement. Nova gas crawlers now roam every floor rather than staying in the labs, and Hellhound rounds replace the Pentagon Thief.

The round-150 ending

There is no main quest — Classified’s ending is gated behind the most audacious paywall in the mode: reach round 150 and a cutscene plays, no achievement attached. Players first found it through a glitch weeks after launch. In it, post-Moon Ultimis sit imprisoned at Groom Lake until Primis Nikolai steps through a portal with a recruitment pitch: a war unlike any they have seen — the Great War.

Story

For Ultimis the map sits between Shangri-La and Moon: they re-link the Groom Lake teleporter to Griffin Station mid-story, and the Grand Scheme proceeds off-screen as it always did. Samantha’s hand is visible earlier than anyone knew — it was she who corrupted Yuri Zavoyski and sent him Pentagon-ward to start this outbreak. The outro belongs to Alpha Omega, and everything after belongs to the end.
