Speed Cola roughly halves your reload time, and that one number is why it sits second only to Jugger-Nog in most buy orders. Zombies is a game about the seconds you spend vulnerable, and no seconds are more dangerous than the ones inside a reload with a train of forty closing in.

It debuted with the Perk-a-Cola system itself on Verrückt and has held its 3,000-point price through the classic era — the most expensive of the original four, priced like the luxury it is not. Its value scales with your weapon: light magazines and slow shotguns lean on it hardest, and on higher rounds it stops being optional for anyone holding a wall weapon.

The modern titles kept it and widened it: in Black Ops 6 it also speeds up applying armour plates, folding a second vulnerability window under the same bottle. The community shorthand has never changed — when someone calls "grab Speed," there is only one machine they mean.
