Little Lost Girl
Eight steps, soloable, and two of them silently refuse to start if all six generators are not simultaneously live. Build and upgrade every staff, break the seal, and decide whether you want the ending or the rounds.

Walkthrough
Step by step
- 01
Secure the keys
Build and fully upgrade all four Elemental Staffs.
Every staff needs its three rod parts, its gem from the Crazy Place, and all four upgrade stages: the Crazy Place riddle, the overworld puzzle, the ring-and-orb puzzle in the lower Excavation chamber, and the soul soak. Nothing in the quest moves until all four are upgraded.
Warning: The Fire Staff cannot be finished before round 8 — the first Panzersoldat is the only source of its third rod part.
Troubleshooting: If nothing happens after the last upgrade, walk the map and confirm all six generators are lit, then retake any that are not. That alone fixes it in most cases.
- 02
Ascend from darkness
Place each staff on its matching new pedestal.
Four new pedestals appear. Ull’s Arrow (Ice) goes to Freya, the left robot on the church lane. Boreas’ Fury (Wind) goes to Odin, the centre robot over the Excavation Site. Kimat’s Bite (Lightning) goes to Thor, the right robot over Generators 2 and 3. Kagutsuchi’s Blood (Fire) goes to a new fourth pedestal in the staff room, centred in front of the original four. Any order works, and each pedestal accepts only its own staff.
Tip: Confirmation is a Samantha voice line, all four staffs reappearing in the staff room, and the four extra pedestals vanishing.
Warning: Your staffs are unrecoverable until this step finishes. Do not start it mid-horde.
- 03
Rain fire
Press the red button inside a robot head, then G-Strike the cracked seal.
All three robots now march continuously. Get inside a head by shooting open a lit foot and letting it stomp you, press the red button that has appeared, and have someone throw a G-Strike beacon onto the cracked stone seal behind and to the right of Generator 5. The robots then shell the seal and break it.
Tip: Get the G-Strike long before this step. The tablet has to be cleansed in the church basin, carried back to the Tank Station without touching mud, and earned with melee kills at both ends.
Troubleshooting: Solo: enter Odin from either footprint, press the button as Maxis says "one" in the purge countdown — being purged is faster than climbing out — then sprint for the seal priming the beacon as you go. Which foot lights up is random, so expect several attempts.
- 04
Unleash the horde
Deploy the Maxis Drone at the broken seal and kill what comes out.
Throw the drone as close to the broken seal as you can. It flies into the pit and Panzersoldats come out of it. Kill all of them.
Tip: Ray Gun Mark II, G-Strikes and upgraded staffs are what people bring. The drone will not return to its bench until step 5.
Troubleshooting: Sources disagree on how many Panzersoldats spawn — some say two per player, the wiki says ten. Either way, keep killing until the step completes rather than counting.
- 05
Skewer the winged beast
Under Zombie Blood, shoot down the glowing plane and kill its pilot.
While you have Zombie Blood active, a yellow-glowing plane becomes visible in the sky. Shoot it down; its zombie pilot drops and circles the Excavation Site clockwise, visible only while you are still in Zombie Blood. Killing it drops the upgraded Maxis Drone.
Tip: Run counter-clockwise around the Excavation Site to intercept the pilot rather than chasing it.
Troubleshooting: For a renewable Zombie Blood, shoot the three burning wagons with the Ice Staff — one spawns near the scaffolding by Pack-a-Punch, once per round. It does not work while it is raining, because the wagons are not lit.
- 06
Wield a fist of iron
Every player punches glowing-armed Crusaders until a tablet drops.
Inside the Excavation Site, hit Crusader zombies with white glowing arms using the One Inch Punch — roughly twenty each. Hits count without kills, so the air blast is enough. A white glowing tablet drops and picking it up flashes the screen.
Tip: Get the One Inch Punch early by filling the four soul chests. Robots reset an unfilled chest to zero if they step on it, and zombies spawned from dig spots do not count toward it.
Troubleshooting: The step will not advance until every player has an Iron Fist, so in co-op nobody can carry the others through this one.
- 07
Raise hell
Place all four staffs in the Crazy Place and farm souls there.
Put all four upgraded staffs on their Crazy Place pedestals and kill Templars and Crusaders inside the Crazy Place — around a hundred. Souls stream up to the centre, a white flash confirms it, and the ceiling opens into a vortex.
Tip: This is the step that unlocks the achievement. Step 8 is optional, and it ends your game.
Troubleshooting: Finishing this stops the falling rocks permanently, which turns the Crazy Place into the safest holdout on the map — no Panzersoldats, no robots, all four staffs available.
- 08
Freedom
OptionalDeploy the drone into the vortex, then hold action on the blue rock.
Throw the Maxis Drone into the centre of the Crazy Place and it flies up into the portal. Then hold the action button on the blue rock in the centre to use the teleporter. This ends the game, with a unique ending track and a bonus cutscene after the scoreboard.
Warning: This ends your run. Do not do it if you still want the rounds.
